Content Marketing – Short is sweet
Content marketing is a powerful tool to spread your business across the internet. There are various ways to use content for your business. The traditional ways of content writing are Blog writing, content on webpages & new ways for using content as a marketing tool are videos, questions & answers, social bookmarking guest posts, social media, video creation etc.
Do you know that day by day content is getting shorter and shorter?
In 2006, twitter started the idea of short content, which is what we called a tweet, it was limited to 140 characters, later in 2017, it was exceeded to 280 characters. But still it is short. It is the most popular social media which helps to put your moto within a short message. It is more efficient, because your followers no need to read the whole paragraph & they can get an exact idea of your tweet.
Later then, tiktok is there which has a video limit 15 sec though currently it is 60 sec but you have to create a video of 60 sec & then you can upload it in parts, each part with 15 sec duration. Till today, the 60 sec video is not much popular on tiktok, as people don’t have that much time to wait & watch unless & until content is unique & have some quotes or messages or jokes are there.
The above both examples means that people are getting interested in short content which is more entertaining & suitable to read, which can easily satisfy customers or user’s requirements.
So, the long content is out of date, of course not. We can still use it for website writing, blogs but for social media or virtual media you have to go short & short. It is a more effective way of content marketing through social media.
